This Tamarack Jacket Add-On provides the pattern pieces for you to easily add a collar or hood to your jacket! We've also included instructions for adding lined & quilted patch pockets using the pocket piece from the original Tamarack pattern. There's no need to make any adjustments or do any drafting, just choose your add-on and cut!
Please Note: This is not a complete pattern, the Tamarack Jacket pattern is needed to complete this jacket.
Difficulty Intermediate
Suggested Fabrics Main & Lining Fabrics Light to mid-weight cottons, linens, chambrays, and blends work well for this jacket. Since the fabric will be doubled and quilted to a batting avoid anything too heavy as the jacket may become excessively stiff.
Batting High quality batting in cotton, wool, bamboo, or a blend. Choose the thickness based on how warm you want your coat to be.
Notions Thread 1 ½ yds of ½" wide double fold bias binding in addition to the binding required for the original jacket.
