Get Ready for the Tamarack Video Sew-Along
As we mentioned at the launch of the size 14 – 30 Tamarack Jacket, we'll be hosting a full video sew-along starting on Monday, November 9th! The Tamarack is such a fun pattern to sew up and you can make it as simple or involved as you want through fabric choices, quilting designs and more.
The video sew-along will be posted on our YouTube Channel 3x a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday giving you time to catch up over the weekends on any lessons you may not have had time for during the week. The lesson plan is as follows:
- Introduction, fabric & supplies
- Downloading, printing & assembling the PDF Pattern
- Choosing a size & basic pattern adjustments
- Cutting & prep
- Size 14-30 dart assembly
- Quilting your jacket
- Sewing the welt pockets
- Sewing the patch pockets
- Making your bias binding
- Assembling your jacket body
- Assembling and attaching the collar
- Assembling and attaching the hood
- Finishing the binding
- Closures
