The Button Up Refashion Swap | My Top
Well it's time to show you what Sunni of the super amazing blog A Fashionable Stitch made for me! Much like the garment made for her, this is not something that I would think to make for myself (maybe you've noticed my love for lack of waist definition?) but I love this top! It fits great and omg you guys it is IMPECCABLE in the sewing department, but we all knew Sunni was a sewing master already so that's not news.
I'm really into the ties at the neckline as well, you can wear the top a little unbuttoned with the ties loose and it's really cute but sadly it was so crazy windy and cold out that we couldn't get a single photo that turned out like that. I think this top would look great tucked into a skirt as well, maybe a pencil skirt? I'm pretty low in the skirt department at the moment so perhaps I need to add some of those onto my sewing list and test the theory. If you're interested in making one of these suckers for yourself, check out Sunni's step by step tutorial on making this top here!
I'm so happy that I was able to take part in this Button Up Refashion Swap, it was a great time, I got to discover some new blogs, meet some new awesome ladies and I now have a really great new top just in time for summer! Thanks to Miranda and Melissa for organizing this. You can check out the other refashions at the links below.
