My Lakeside Pajamas
Are you ready to talk more about pajamas? I hope so! I've made 2 sets of the Lakeside Pajamas now and I love them so much more than the pairs I made last summer. There was a lot of tweaking going on from those sets to these, most notably I added a bust dart which really adds to the drape of the top.
My friend Michelle took these photos a few weekends ago while we were at our friend's Lake Michigan cottage, such a fun weekend! I was on the fence between names for these pajamas and after we decided to shoot them while here I knew they had to be called the Lakeside Pajamas. They're so perfect for lounging lakeside, well, and everywhere else too.
The fabric is this Thakoon cotton from Mood. I have to tell you guys, I was pretty blown away by the softness and drape of this cotton. It's SO dreamy, I'm kind of obsessed with wearing these for that reason. When it's 90 out (and it feels like it's 90 inside your apartment) I swear this fabric adds no extra heat, it's like a cloud. I *may* have the other Thakoon cotton on my cutting table earmarked for another pair...
Thanks to everyone for the support and kind words on this new pattern, I was, and still am, pretty blown away by it. You guys are seriously the best! Now...time to get started on that next pattern!
