Merry Everything! Grainline's Holiday Gift Guide
'Tis the season, whatever your celebration may be, to enjoy the company of family and friends, eat warm, delicious meals, and give. For those of you who exchange gifts, it can start to feel very overwhelming, there can be serious pressure to find or in our case make the perfect gift. When it comes to Grainline patterns, we thought we would help you out a bit, or at the very least give you some inspiration for sewing gifts you can give. One of the best and most exciting gifts for a fellow sewer would be a bundle containing a sewing pattern plus all the supplies, perfectly curated, that they would need to make the piece. I have browsed around some online fabric stores and found fabrics I think would be great paired with some of our patterns. If you are feeling especially ambitious, some of these bundles would make great gifts sewn up. The Stowe Bag is a nice one to sew yourself before gifting because it goes together very quickly. The Portside Travel Set makes for an amazing gift if you have the time to spare. What's great about the bag patterns is you don't have to worry about sizing.
Check out the fabrics we found and loved below. The Portside bundle I thought would look great using all three fabrics, fabric #1 for the top of the bag, fabric #3 for the bottom, and fabric #2 for the lining! All the other bundles below are simply suggestions.
