Join Me for a Weekend of Sewing
This retreat will be a little different than most of my classes for a few very fun reasons...
First off, rather than everyone sewing one pattern we thought it would be fun to open the retreat up to all Grainline patterns! What this means is I'll have technique specific demos scattered throughout the day based on what everyone tells us they're planning on working on. In addition to those, and me making the rounds offering help & answering questions, you'll be able to sign up for one-on-one help sessions so we can dive into your particular project in more detail.
Next, we're all staying in the same, very luxe, house which means we get to hang out all day long! We'll all start the day out with breakfast, move into our sewing & teaching time, then after that we'll have dinner together and be able to hang out by the fire, chatting, and you know I'll be knitting. It's such an amazing experience to be able to sew and learn along with a group of likeminded people and make new friends in the process!
Retreat Price Includes:
- Jen Beeman of Grainline Studio, garment sewing expert, on hand to answer all your sewing questions all weekend long
- Laura & Allyson, experienced garment sewists and knitting teachers, on hand to answer all your questions
- Three nights luxury accommodation, including spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, hot tubs, theater room, and fire pit!
- Two full days of garment sewing instruction
- Transportation to the retreat space from downtown Chicago, leaving Friday at 12pm CST and returning to downtown Chicago at 11am CST
- Catered dinners from local chefs Friday and Sunday night
- Wood-fired pizza party Saturday night
- Three family style breakfasts and two lunches
- Plentiful snacks, handmade cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and tea
- All taxes and fees
