Introducing the Town Bag

Today we’re launching a very anticipated new pattern – and the latest in our collaboration with Fringe Supply Co. – the Town Bag! No matter the project, the Town is a great do-it-all project bag and everyday purse or tote. And we don't just have the pattern, we also have kits with all the fabric and notions you'll need to create your own!

The Town has the same interior pockets and drawstring closure as the Field Bag (minus the grommets), but with the addition of tote-style handles and external front and back pockets. It's large enough to fit a Field Bag or small Stowe Bag inside but small enough to fit into a larger bag if needed, like the larger Stowe.

As we mentioned above, we don’t just have the pattern, we also have a few types of kits to help you construct your Town Bags with ease! The first kit is our Fabric & Notions Kit which features the needed yardage of the same canvas used to create the original bags. You’ll also receive the cotton cording, cotton webbing and rivets needed. You won’t have to worry about sourcing a thing!

The notions & small hardware needed to create your own bag can be difficult to source in small amounts so the second kit, the Town Bag Notions Kit, contains just the cord, strap webbing, and rivets needed for one bag. Choose your own fabric and you're ready to sew! We’ve also added the Town Bag Rivet Set for those of you who would prefer to find all your own fabrics & notions but still want to add rivets.

In addition to the Town patterns and kits we've got a lot of great content planned to help you create your own! We'll be back to hosting a video sew-along for this pattern and also have some fun tutorials on customizing your bag planned.
