Introducing the Stowe Bag

Today we are so excited to announce the Stowe Bag, brought to you as a collaborative effort between Fringe Supply Co. & Grainline Studio. A lot of you probably know Karen Templer, from Fringe Supply Co. as well as Fringe Association. She reached out to us a while back about working together on producing a pattern based a very popular bag she carried in 2012. The bag sold out extremely quickly, but was too costly to reproduce, so that's where we came in. We changed up the original design a bit to make it home sewing friendly and made a second size. The Stowe can be made as a small bag, as pictured above, or in the larger version for bulkier projects, as pictured below.

This pattern sews up quickly and with no worries about sizing, it's a great gift to give fellow sewers, knitters, family or friends. The Stowe can be gifted sewn up or give the pattern with the required fabric and supplies, it makes for a cute little bundle. Either way you'll have an awesome gift for yourself or someone else!

One of our favorite things about the Stowe is it makes for a well organized project bag but as I have learned, it's an equally perfect lunch bag. Just a little hint! With tons of interior pockets, there is plenty of room for your tools, notebooks, and patterns. The pattern is labeled as advanced beginner because it includes a fair amount of bias binding. However, as I'm sure a lot of you know, when it comes to bias binding, once you get the hang of it, it's not too tricky! Basically, without going on too much, this is a great pattern for any level. It's so good all sewn up, it's worth the hardship or the ease. Jen and I have been doing our best to keep this babe top secret but we can't stop carrying ours around town!
