tiny pocket transformed

dress : altered tiny pocket tank pattern
necklace : cursive design
jacket : h&m
shoes : a.p.c. madras
As promised, here is the tiny pocket tank turned into a shift dress complete with a center front button placket and two large patch pockets.  Doesn’t it look so warm and springlike out here?  Don’t be fooled, it was 32˚, hence the super tense shoulders.  What happened to all the nice weather earlier in the week?!  At least it’s sunny out again I suppose.  Also I would like to mention my shoe score of the century.  Those A.P.C. cutout boots that retailed for $238…I got them for $26.00 including shipping from Urban Outfitters.  Woohoo!!  This was one time that it paid to have freakishly small feet!  I like the little colored tights popping out of the cutouts, it’s like spring a little bit.  I’m still going through all of the photos I took of altering the tank into this dress; I should have them finished up and ready to post with instructions by Monday.  Cool yo.

So cute and I love the patterned fabric you chose. Adding the dress variation to my list of things to do before spring has sprung.

Great dress! While I was making my own tiny pocket tank I was wondering what it would look like as a dress… now I know! and I'll have to try it.
