To begin, you’ll need to attach a hook & eye to the top back of view A to keep the top closed when you wear it. You can also use a loop & button if you like, this is just my preferred method because of the streamlined look.

You’ll want to double check that all your facings are tacked down at this point as well. For view A you’ll have tacked the neckline facing at the center front and both shoulders.Hadley Sew-Along: Finishing | Grainline Studio

Once that’s all done, your view A Hadley is done and ready to wear! As for finishing view B, there isn’t much to do.

Again you’ll want to double check that you’ve got everything tacked. On view B that would be the shoulder and underarm seam for the armhole facings. For the neck facing you’ll have tacked it down at the center front, center back, and both shoulder seams. If that’s all in place you’re done!

Thanks so much for following along with the Hadley Sew-Along! We hope you enjoyed it and learned something along the way. This is the first sew along that Lexi and I worked on together and it was so nice to have someone sewing while I edit photos and write posts. For the Hadley sew-along we took over 1200 photos, all raw, so you can imagine how long it takes to go through them all and color correct and crop! As always, if you have any questions just let us know in the comments below!

I absolutely love your patterns! You have so many that are great starting points for sewers who don’t have a lot of experience. All of your instructions are outstanding and referring back to the sew alongs makes it even more clear. I love my new Hadley top! I’ll be posting a photo of it on Instagram soon. Thanks for these great patterns and tutorials!
