You guys, I love this Scout so much. Such a good use of the bold print and I love the placement of it. Sometimes that’s the hardest part when working with fabric like this. Okay it’s usually the hardest part and Alex nailed it! Check out what she had to say about this awesome shirt and click over to her blog for more photos!

What type of fabric / materials did you use? “Printed cotton voile. I was particularly attracted to the scale of the geometric print and the “imperfections” that were part of the design.”
Tell us more about your project! “I had seen some fantastic versions of the Scout Tee in blogland and really loved the simplicity of the silhouette – a perfect pairing for my geometric fabric. The top came together quickly and easily, which is a testament to the great instructions. I also used french seams throughout.
I’ve had so much wear out of my Scout Tee, and a recent run of scorching Sydney weather has inspired me to make more – potentially with my own fabric designs. The Scout Woven Tee is such a great wardrobe staple with loads of variation possibilities!”
