Autumn Wardrobe | Sessùn x Liberty Top

Late this summer one of my friends asked me to take in the sides of a Sessùn x Liberty top for her and I sort of really really wanted one for myself. She'd gotten it on super sale at UO and there were none left so I figured I could squeeze a similar blouse out of my leftover Liberty Edenham fabric.

I made a few changes from the original, raising and narrowing the neckline and making the placket shorter, but other than that it's pretty much the same. It's a super comfy top and looks good with cardigans for fall / winter which I'm pretty excited about. This top was also an almost free project, using leftovers from various other garments. It would have been completely free but someone (Roamy) walked off with my elastic at some point during the last few days, probably in some sort of catnip fueled daze and I still can't find it anywhere!

I had my dad help me take the photos before we went to vote Tuesday. It was cold and drizzling so every photo without my cardigan is so insane looking I couldn't even let the internet see. Having my dad take photos is a pretty hilarious thing as you may be able to tell from my facial expressions. Perhaps at some point I'll have Luke do some of the top without the cardigan if we get a rogue warm day over here. Otherwise just imagine that the top is sleeveless!
