Today as I was taking a little after lunch nap with Roamy I looked over and noticed this little bird tied to the back side of Luke’s bedside table. The table itself is pretty amazing. Many years before I met Luke, before he became a professor or moved to Chicago for grad school, he was a blacksmith, before that a cowboy ranch hand and before that a one room school house teacher, all three out in Montana. He made this table during his blacksmithing days and it’s probably the nicest piece of furniture we have in many ways.
