Last weekend we went on our first road trip of the summer, even though it was a mini, to Medina, Ohio for some friend’s wedding. We left at 6am on Sunday, listened to lots of strange radio and I did some car knitting. Once in Medina we did a little bit of antiquing before the wedding at the most amazing antique mall I’ve been to in a while. I walked out with a new honey jar! Our friends (Matt and Carie) got married at Carie’s aunts farm which was pretty fun. There were goats, horses and chickens, a barn decked out for the reception and lots of gluten free eating which was pretty great. The next morning we loaded up the car super early again and headed back to Chicago. It was nice to get out of the city, even if it was only for one night. Definitely looking forward to our next road trip!
