I caved in and started on my Lopi sweater last night while watching a gazillion episodes of Greek on Netflix. Has anyone else watched that show? Weirdly addicting in a Veronica Mars sort of way. Also, like Veronica Mars, it was cancelled about a week before I started watching it. Anyway back to the knits. The sweater is one skein of yarn in, I am knitting it as a pullover instead of a cardigan and I changed the moss stitch at the bottom to ribbing. Many of skeins of yarn to go. The socks I did not knit, I bought them in Reykjavik and they are SO boss. I like to wear them with my clogs on cold days with mustard tights underneath, you seriously can't even feel the Chicago wind through those babies.

Also I want to say a huge *thank you* to everyone who has purchased the Tiny Pocket Tank Pattern so far.  I am so excited to see people sewing up my patterns. As a patternmaker I see my patterns sewn up every day but this feels totally different. I remember in my pre-patternmaker days when all I wanted to find were cool patterns and there was nothing, (think late 90's early 00's, pre BurdaStyle, Built by Wendy pattern collaborations etc.) so I think that makes this feel even more fun for me. I'll be turning the Tiny Pocket Tank into a summer shift-style dress with a button placket in the front for myself soon, so if anyone is interested I can photograph while I make mine and post a tutorial on it.
