Last night I went with my sister (kari) and her boyfriend (dave) to a masquerade party thrown by physicists. Since it was thrown by physicists, we had the upper hand on the mask creating and our masks were the best at the party. It was a pretty swell time, and I totally killed it in an impromptu Hungry Hungry Hippos tournament, go pink hippo!

The night before we went to the Lend a Hand for Mary Ann benefit and dances most of the night away, there was a great turn out for that with about 890 people showing up to support the Freitags.

Since I had such a busy weekend with sewing up orders and benefits and a night of fun times, I took the day off today and I have literally parked it on the couch, knitting and listening to one of my favorite albums of all time, The Ballad of Broken Seas. Though it’s over now and Jaques Dutronc just came on and he’s just peppy enough to get me up and moving. Is 5 pm too late to pull it together?
